A Voice for Women in Leadership

Representing AverNoble, a company known for its commitment to leadership excellence and organisational development, Ms. Anusia brought a grounded and thoughtful perspective to the discussion. She highlighted how mentorship, support systems, and structural changes are all crucial in helping women break through long-standing barriers.

In the discussion, she emphasised several key points:

  • Mentorship must be intentional - Women need mentors who genuinely guide, uplift, and open doors. It’s important to be in the right network and circle of influence.
  • Sponsorship and support is equally essential - Beyond advice, women need champions who actively advocate for their career progression. Seeking support by asking questions and engaging with others.
  • Goal to practices - Women should start with a clear purpose. Always ask ‘why’ and be consistent in your actions. Walk the talk and practice daily affirmations to reinforce your growth.
  • Building women’s potential - Women should collaborate, complement each other’s strengths, identify their full potential, confidently showcase and sell their skills.

Her insights resonated strongly with viewers and fellow panelists, reinforcing the idea that leadership doesn’t flourish in isolation, it grows through community, support and opportunities.

Honoured to Contribute Towards Progress

Ms. Anusia expressed heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to sit alongside other inspiring women who are breaking boundaries in their respective fields.

“Being part of this conversation was not just an honour; it was a responsibility. Every dialogue we engage in contributes to a larger movement. If sharing my experiences helps even one young woman believe she can lead, then it is worth every moment. In a leadership role right now, you need to show a lot of care and love, be an active listener and have strong emotional intelligence. We need to work with heart. This is actually a great strength women should have.”

Her presence on the show also reflects AverNoble’s mission to develop leaders who uplift others and create positive change within their organisations and communities.

The episode reinforced a powerful message: while women leaders remain underrepresented, change is happening and it accelerates when organisations, communities, and leaders come together with intention.

Ms. Anusia’s participation in the TV3 , Women Talk panel is a testament to her dedication to leadership advocacy. Moving forward, she and AverNoble aim to continue supporting women through:

  • coaching and mentorship programmes
  • leadership development initiatives
  • collaboration and connection
  • community engagement
  • Her hope is that more women will not only take up leadership roles but thrive in them.
